Job summary

Croghan Colonial Bank in Oak Harbor, OH is seeking a friendly Teller to deliver an exceptional customer experience while processing a wide range of transactions with accuracy and compliance. You will verify ownership, signatures, endorsements, and funds availability, handle deposits and loan payments, and refer customers to other services when appropriate.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior banking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior banking experience preferred but not required.
• Good communication skills, ability to work with others, and computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to travel to other banking centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Professionally and accurately process a wide variety of transactions in accordance with bank policy.
• Review transactions for proper ownership, signatures, POA, endorsements, funds availability and red flags.
• Perform accurate cash verifications on deposits, withdrawals, and exchanges.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan and credit card payments in person, over the phone, by mail or night depository.
• Complete CTRs accurately.
