Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience writing clear functional and technical requirements.
• Experience performing integration, functional, regression, and performance testing on embedded software systems.
• Experience with requirements-based testing and maintaining traceability using IBM DOORS or equivalent RMS.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, sprint planning, test iteration cycles, and DevSecOps CI/CD processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and contribute to software system architecture and design.
• Understand and evaluate interfaces between multiple software and hardware subsystems.
• Develop test procedures for system verification and validation.
• Execute module-level integration, functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Analyze test results, document defects, and collaborate with software developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and test engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in peer reviews, technical reviews, milestone reviews, and engineering meetings.
• Support requirements verification and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.
