Job summary

HRUCKUS is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator for a full-time, on-site role in Landover, MD. The candidate will manage multi-user systems and virtualized server environments, primarily on Oracle Sun Server X4, RHEL, and VMware platforms.

The ideal candidate must hold an active TS SCI clearance and DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification, with a Bachelor's degree and relevant years of experience (Master’s degree with fewer years acceptable).

Qualifications

• Active TS SCI clearance is required.
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required.
• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s with 3 years acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multi-user computer systems and virtualized servers.
• Configure and manage RHEL and VMware environments; perform backup/restoration.
• Develop and enforce system security policies and disaster recovery procedures.
• Set up and manage user accounts, storage, and patch management.
• Monitor performance and coordinate hardware/software changes with vendors.
