Job summary

CMI Group is seeking a Systems Administrator for an on-site role in Phoenix, AZ. The candidate will maintain, upgrade and manage software, hardware, and networks to keep the technology infrastructure running smoothly.

Responsibilities include configuring systems, monitoring performance, securing networks, and training staff. U.S. citizenship or valid permanent resident status is required. Full-time, day shift at 3617 E. La Salle St., Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage user ticket system.
• Install and configure software and hardware; Fortinet and Aruba are a plus.
• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Set up accounts and workstations.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems per requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
