Job summary

Kentucky Community and Technical College System is seeking a Student Worker for the Assessment Center. The role is on-site at SKYCTC's KATI campus, supporting clerical tasks and front-desk customer service for the Assessment & Testing Center.

The position pays $14.00 per hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week, with anticipated August 2026 – May 2027 employment. The candidate must be credential-seeking in a SKYCTC program, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, and demonstrate dependability,

Qualifications

• Enrollment in SKYCTC program and maintaining GPA per minimum requirements.
• Ability to perform clerical and customer-service tasks with accuracy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Blackboard for coursework and campus workflows.
• Willingness to undergo background checks as required by policy.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties and receptionist tasks with customer service oversight.
• Assist in maintaining the Assessment & Testing Center space and supplies.
• Proctor exams as needed and ensure test security.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and follow procedures.
• Support other duties as assigned by department.
