Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Completion of apprenticeship program in the electrician trade or equivalent experience.
• Basic journey level skills in the electrician trade including proficiency with all tools of the trade.
• Knowledge and ability to maintain, inspect, operate, install, repair, and commission standby power systems and transfer switches.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and commissioning on standby generator power systems including transfer switches.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning electrical systems using appropriate meters and tools.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO, PPE, and work planning controls.
• Document preventive maintenance results, inspections, hazard identifications, and code compliance.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for projects, work orders, and maintenance records.
• Provide timely customer service to clients and team members.
• Complete maintenance requests, deficiency reports, and work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
