Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent accounting experience
• 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other standard applications

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions
• Calculate and process driver payroll accurately and on a timely basis
• Record and review accounting transactions in QuickBooks and other systems
• Reconcile bank, credit card, AP, AR, and other balance sheet accounts
• Maintain accurate inventory and financial records
• Review invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation for accuracy and proper coding
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices, payments, receipts, payroll, and financial records
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation
• Support the accounting team with account analysis and other accounting projects as needed
• Work with other departments to obtain and verify documentation needed for accounting and payroll transactions
• Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly supported
