Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for maternity leave coverage in a school setting. This in-person role runs from the week of November 30, 2026 through March 1, 2027, offering meaningful work helping children access communication skills.

You will evaluate, treat, and report on students’ speech, language, and feeding/oral motor needs, aligning with IEPs/504 plans, and working with a supportive mentorship program and competitive benefits.

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking an in-person, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide maternity leave coverage beginning the week of November 30, 2026 through March 1, 2027. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SPEECH‑LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• ASHA certification
• Illinois Speech‑Language Pathology License

Every state requires all Speech Language Pathologists to have a state license. If you do not have a license for a specific state, the licensing team at PDS will help you through the process!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

As a Speech‑Language Pathologist, you will spend your day helping improve the lives of children. Setting them up for success both in the school setting and beyond is meaningful work that builds a rewarding career!

You will provide high‑quality services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans. Conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports, you determine their strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
