Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support students in school settings, focusing on communication and related skills. This role involves evaluations, assessments, and developing plans to help children achieve their speech and language goals.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists, document progress, and contribute to a mentorship-friendly environment with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required.
• ASHA certification is required.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Help improve the lives of children by supporting their communication needs in school settings.
• Provide high-quality services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans.
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and write reports to identify strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• ASHA certification
• State Speech Language Pathology License

Every state requires all Speech Language Pathologists to have a state license. If you do not have a license for a specific state, the licensing team at PDS will help you through the process!
