Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a school-based Special Education Teacher in Williston, VT. This full-time, on-site role supports elementary students (K-5) with individualized instruction and IEP implementation.

You’ll collaborate with school district teams, families, and related-service professionals, handling caseloads and documentation while ensuring IDEA compliance and high-quality student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Current or eligible VT licensure/certification in Special Education.
• Eligibility to provide SPED services in Vermont.
• 1+ years school experience preferred.
• Experience with IDEA, IEP development, progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to student needs.
• Manage assigned caseload and coordinate SPED services.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed.
• Monitor progress and collect data toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with IDEA and district procedures.
