Job summary

Craig Technologies at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston seeks an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to support electrical, electronic and electromechanical assemblies for ground and flight hardware used on ISS, Orion, and NASA vehicles.

You will perform design support, cabling, part selection, drawing mark-up, and testing, with emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to NASA standards. The role is on-site with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience reading drawings and assembling cables; soldering (through hole and SMT); electro-mechanical assembly including routing cables.

Responsibilities

• Participate in assembly and fabrication reviews with the project engineer.
• Review and modify in-process sheets for electrical/mechanical hardware.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan and Quality Assurance Plan.
