McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking a Solar Installer for the Milford, UT project site to safely assemble and install solar equipment. You will work with tools, follow safety policies, and support daily production goals in a collaborative team environment.

Experience in solar construction is preferred; heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions are required. This role emphasizes reliability, initiative, and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+.
• Experience with solar construction preferred but not required.
• Experience using tools to install mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward spaces.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying weather including heat, cold, and precipitation.
• Full use of hands, arms, shoulders, back, and good vision required.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team.
• Reliable attendance and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean site.
• Shake out material and stock field inventory.
• Bolt up clamps for solar panels and set drive motors.
• Hoist and align torque tubes; install dampeners and linkage.
• Set and install solar modules and connect components.
• Tighten bolts to torque specs and perform quality control.
• Receive materials and ensure accurate inventory.
• Complete equipment checklists and report issues to supervision.
• Perform general site cleanup and support daily production goals.
• Complete other duties as assigned by site leadership.
