Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a school-based, onsite role near Newark, DE. The contract runs through June 11, 2027, with a flexible schedule within standard school hours (8:00-4:00 for elementary; 6:45-2:45 for middle/high) and adaptable options such as 7:30-3:30.

The role requires active or pending DE SLPA or SLP licensure, with experience in school or healthcare settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Active or pending DE SLPA or SLP license required.
• Experience in school or healthcare settings preferred.
• Spanish speaking ability considered a plus, but not required.
• Clinical Fellows and SLPA graduates welcome to apply.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Capable of passing a background check and drug screening.
• Willing and able to work onsite throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language services to K-12 students under supervision.
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and therapy sessions.
• Support IEP implementation and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and parent communications.
• Contribute to student progress tracking and reporting.
