Job summary

NOVA Technologies is hiring a Simulator Technician I to support C-130J MATS training devices at Dyess AFB, TX. You will operate, troubleshoot, and document training-device systems and assist with maintenance under established procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with related experience, DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain), and the ability to lift 40 pounds and access cockpit areas. On-site, full-time federal site hours apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience may substitute for degree.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, diagrams and schematics.
• Able to meet physical requirements (lifting 40 pounds, climbing into cockpit areas).
• DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Experience with electronics, simulation systems, or training devices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, and support C-130J MATS training devices for students and instructors.
• Troubleshoot routine initialization, operational, electronic-circuit, and equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system readiness testing.
• Document maintenance in EDMS and manage repair actions.
• Support inventory accountability and parts tracking.
• Provide basic networking/information-systems support on training devices and networks.
• Follow site procedures and develop proficiency across device subsystems.
