Job summary

National Products in Seattle, WA is hiring a Shipping Clerk for a full-time, on-site role. The position handles data entry, labeling, packing, and coordinating shipments (FedEx/UPS/USPS) to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, work quickly with attention to detail, and communicate clearly. Prior experience with shipping software such as MRP and carrier systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Knowledge of basic warehouse and shipping processes.
• Produce quality work at a fast pace, standing on feet all day.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and proficiently.
• Extremely detail oriented, organized and able to handle high volume of product safely, efficiently.
• Previous MRP, FedEx One ship, UPS World Ship, experience preferred.
• Able to work effectively as a team member with other shipping/warehouse employees.
• Professional demeanor with co-workers and customers.
• Clearly read, write and comprehend English.
• Use a hand truck and pallet jack.
• Good written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons for shipment.
• Read incoming paperwork from the shop, determine if the job is complete/ready to ship, and identify what shipping method is to be used.
• Perform the inventory data transactions in the computer system (create packing list and invoice).
• Schedule shipments with carriers via phone, email, and/or FedEx, UPS, & USPS interactive software systems.
• Physically stack cartons in appropriate areas for freight companies to pick up.
• With the use of hand truck, pallet jack, fork lift, and hand carry, load freight onto trucks.
• Take direction from supervisor.
