Job summary

SQA Services is seeking a full-time engineer for a month-long on-site project at a pump supplier in the Northern Las Vegas, NV area. Travel to Texas and Germany is required and expenses are paid.

Must have an up-to-date passport and strong reforming quality assurance background. The role involves monitoring manufacturing processes on the floor, identifying deviations, gathering evidence, and documenting closures while coordinating with supplier and client teams.

Qualifications

• Soft skills and patience.
• Able to effectively run meetings and great documentation skills.
• Ability to understand manufacturing processes and read standard operation procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to communicate with operators and management in person and remotely effectively.
• Mechanical / process engineering knowledge.
• Up to date passport.

Responsibilities

• Work with technicians on the manufacturing floor monitoring manufacturing process
• Identify deviations from recorded process
• Gather objective evidence to support active action items, status, and assist in documenting closure
• Communicate and build professional rapport with the Supplier and Client teammates
