MorningStar Senior Living is seeking an Activities Director for the Greater Phoenix Area to lead life enrichment and recreational programs, aligned with the WellStar program and mission. This on-site role partners with care teams to ensure activities meet residents' needs and abilities.

You will develop calendars, manage budgets, and engage residents through group and individual activities, outings, and volunteer collaborations, while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, including clear verbal and written skills.
• Experience designing inclusive activities for older adults and memory care residents.
• Experience planning and coordinating on-site events and outings.
• Ability to manage budgets for activity programs.
• Senior living or recreation therapy background preferred.
• Education in recreation therapy, social work, gerontology, or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate life enrichment and recreational programs for residents.
• Develop event calendars, manage activity budgets, and chart participation.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure activities suit varying abilities, including memory care.
• Engage residents in group and individual activities and outings.
