Responsibilities
- Provide component engineering expertise to design teams.
- Coordinate part obsolescence and substitutions with vendors.
- Evaluate and qualify components for cost and reliability.
- Collaborate with QA, supply chain and manufacturing to resolve issues.
- Participate in design reviews and source of supply approvals.
- Assist sustaining engineering with changes and product support.
