Job summary

BST Gallagher Flynn LLP in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Financial Controllers of Macnaught and LockNLube entities with month-end reporting, AP, AR, and balance sheet reconciliations. This role is based in our Tampa office and involves liaising with the group accounting function in Australia.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 5-7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with general ledger functions, financial statements and month-end close.
• Experience in product-led manufacturing and distribution environment.
• Experience with multi-channel selling (e-commerce/B2B).
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and bank accounts.
• Prepare and assist in annual statutory audit.
• Assist in monthly financials and month end P&L statements.
• Prepare accurate management reports and ensure reporting deadlines.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of overseas shared services team.
• Support ERP improvements and automation initiatives.
• Take ownership of audit requests and provide documentation.
