Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Security Officer — Full Time in Sumner, WA. The position offers a wage of $24.50-$27.00 per hour and involves safeguarding people, property, and information on client sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests.
• Ability to complete GED program if needed within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out tasks and duties of similar nature as required for the site.
