Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Security Specialist to operate under supervision across assigned shifts. You will perform patrols, monitor CCTV and access systems, respond to incidents, and document actions. The role requires following post orders and escalation protocols while maintaining site safety and policy compliance.

The position is full-time, with compensation commensurate with experience. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have or acquire knowledge of CCTV,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; security or emergency response experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms, and life-safety systems.
• Ability to follow procedures, post orders, and escalation protocols.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned security duties during scheduled shifts, including patrols and incident response.
• Serve as on-site responder to security, safety, and medical incidents per procedures.
• Conduct patrols to identify hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and life-safety systems; report irregularities.
• Control and document site access, including visitor processing and contractor verification.
• Respond to alarms, assess conditions, and escalate as needed.
• Provide initial emergency response support and scene control until relieved.
• Complete incident reports and shift documentation before shift end.
• Maintain accountability of issued equipment and support operations as directed.
