Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess valid Ohio Security Officer License or be willing to obtain one.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Proven experience in a security or customer service role preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized individuals access the property.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to identify safety hazards, suspicious activity, or maintenance issues.
• Act as a strong visual deterrent to prevent theft, vandalism, and trespassing.
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents, shoppers, and congregation members.
• Document all activities in a detailed Daily Activity Report (DAR) and escalate to law enforcement when necessary.
• Use de-escalation techniques to maintain a calm and orderly environment.
