Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances/access requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Control access to the client site or facility through the admittance process; assist visitors with entry.
• Provide a courteous, respectful interaction with client employees and visitors.
• Monitor entrances and exits; control movement of people and vehicles; inspect and secure entrances.
• Patrol assigned site on foot or vehicle; check for hazards, security violations, and unauthorized persons.
• Prepare logs or reports and maintain security logs with clear, standard language.
• Observe and report incidents to client representatives or authorities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, or security threats following procedures.
