Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) in Bel Air, MD, is seeking an 11-month School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year to provide full psychological services to students, families, and staff. Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Standard Professional Certificate I with school psychologist endorsement.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide counseling and consult across a school community.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to parents/caregivers, school staff, and community providers on mental health and behavioral needs.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments including cognitive, social-emotional, behavioral, adaptive, and academic functioning.
• Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop support plans.
• Conduct threat assessments and contribute to crisis intervention when needed.
• Participate in IEP/504 planning and related meetings; provide counseling and direct/indirect interventions.
