Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Solutions Architect - Scheduling to provide consultation on scheduling technology and to design solutions that meet business requirements. The role requires collaboration across GIS and enterprise architecture to ensure proper integration and alignment with standards.

The candidate will lead modernization of scheduling platforms and manage external development resources as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or information technology; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Seven years of experience in Information Technology industry.
At least three years of experience with scheduling technologies.
Prior SAP S4/ECC deployment experience in all phases of SAP project methodology.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Domain Architects, Product leader, peers, and IS leaders to develop and sustain the Scheduling IT Roadmap.
Work with process leaders and project teams to identify and define integration opportunities for technologies.
Ensure scheduling technology is contemporary and aligned with the IT Roadmap.
Drive design and lifecycle management of scheduling solutions; ensure performance and support.
Design and drive implementation of seamless scheduling platforms.
Lead technology assessments and POCs within scheduling function.
Manage external providers of development capacity as needed.
Identify risks and feasibility for scheduling solutions; develop statements of work.
