Job summary

MAC.BID, based in Canton, OH, is seeking a Scan Floater to prepare and position products for the scan team and to remove scanned items. You will work on a fast-paced warehouse floor supporting the auction process.

Responsibilities include inspecting inbound products, categorizing condition, testing basic electronics, moving items to conveyors and bays, and helping the team meet quality goals. On-site, Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5pm.

Qualifications

• On-site required; Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm.
• Must be able to lift 25 lb alone, 50 lb with a team.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
