Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder for its Tulsa, OK location. The role involves constructing, assembling, maintaining and dismantling tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures, with a minimum of 3 years of scaffolding experience.

You will work on industrial sites, follow OSHA and site requirements, perform safety inspections, and ensure proper staging, securing, and dismantling of scaffolding with emphasis on safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ minimum experience in scaffolding
• Valid ID required

Responsibilities

• Determines type of scaffold needed.
• Inspects job site and scaffold material for defects and safety hazards.
• Communicates safety hazards and mitigates hazards prior to construction of scaffolding.
• Transports tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold to the dimensions required.
• Hoists scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Secures and levels locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secures scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
• Adheres to OSHA, site specific and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.
• Performs final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Dismantles scaffolding when instructed.
• Inspects and stores scaffolding material after dismantling.
