Job summary

KIOSK Information Systems in Thornton, CO is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with Sales and translate customer needs into manufacturable, cost-effective self-service kiosks. Ideal candidates have hardware product development or contracting manufacturing experience and can work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or another technical discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, hardware engineering, product development, Sales Engineering, technical sales, applications engineering, or another related technical role.
• Familiarity with Creo/ProE, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to identify, qualify, and develop new customer opportunities for standard and custom kiosk solutions.
• Lead technical discoveries with customers to understand business, functional, technical, environmental, and integration requirements.
• Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), technical requirements, assumptions, and engineering development estimates for custom projects.
• Develop and validate preliminary cost models, BOM assumptions, NRE estimates, and pricing inputs for standard and custom solutions.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, renderings, CAD models, and other technical documentation to support solution development and cost estimating.
• Collaborate with Engineering to validate technical feasibility, development requirements, project risks, and estimated engineering effort.
• Research and evaluate new components and technologies that expand KIOSK's capabilities or address specific customer requirements.
• Utilize time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
