Job summary

The Archdiocese of Miami Pastoral Center in Miami Shores, FL is hiring a full-time Safe Environment Coordinator to work on-site. The role oversees activation and tracking of Virtus Training Programs for volunteers, vendors, and staff across the archdiocese and its entities.

A key duty is ensuring compliance and producing reports for the annual independent audit. Responsibilities include coordinating multi-language Virtus online trainings, distributing onboarding handouts, and maintaining records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; two‑to‑four years related experience in training & development or education.
• Experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Virtus online initial training for adults in English and Spanish, with subtitles in Korean/Portuguese.
• Provide registration instructions and onboarding materials for employees, volunteers, and vendors.
• Create and distribute training materials; assign modules to leadership and coordinators.
• Monitor completion of Safe Environment reports and prepare materials for the annual audit.
