Job summary

Virtua is seeking a clinically accountable nurse at Mount Holly (175 Madison Avenue) to coordinate patient care within a 12‑hour day shift. You will supervise the nursing team, interact with physicians, and ensure high standards of ethical practice across a 36-hour workweek.

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid NJ RN License. BSN preferred, and 2+ years of acute care experience is desirable. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a valid NJ RN License.
• BSN preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care on the unit/department toward specific patient outcomes.
• Prioritizes and coordinates needs of the unit and individual patients.
• Collaborates with physicians, case management, and families to plan care.
• Delegates and evaluates care provided by the nursing team.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions.
