Job summary

ManTech is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support RMF execution in Virginia Beach, on-site. You will prepare for RMF, document security controls, and lead tailoring workshops with stakeholders. The role emphasizes eMASS, SSPs, and evidence-based compliance across the lifecycle.

You will implement, test, and monitor security controls per NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 and DoD/Navy policies, conducting continuous monitoring and reporting. A US citizen with a Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of direct RMF experience.
• Security+ CE certification.
• Experience with ACAS and eMASS training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for RMF execution and system categorization with network diagrams, inventories, and data flow documentation.
• Lead control selection and tailoring workshops; document decisions in eMASS and maintain SSPs and related security plans.
• Implement and test security controls using DISA STIGs, SRGs, ACAS/Nessus scans, and NIST 800-53A procedures; document results in eMASS.
• Assess control implementation, verify AP satisfaction, and document findings in eMASS; link non-compliant controls to POA&M entries.
• Support RMF accreditation packets in eMASS, including SSP and SAP, and coordinate POA&M entries and SAR preparation.
• Conduct continuous monitoring with monthly scans, STIG updates, and ASRs; update SSP/POA&M to reflect risk posture.
• Provide guidance on RMF compliance and risk management; contribute to policies and security awareness.
