Job summary

Dough Zone USA is seeking an Accountant to support accounting operations for a growing restaurant chain with multiple locations. The role focuses on data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate general ledger maintenance and effective expense management.

The position requires a BA in Accounting or Finance (preferred) and at least 2 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in R365. This on-site role in Bellevue, WA offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in R365 or similar accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the general ledger. Perform account reconciliations and ensure proper classification of transactions.
• Expense Management: Monitor and analyze expenses to identify trends and areas for cost savings. Work closely with management to develop and implement expense control measures.
• Bank Reconciliation: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances and transactions.
• Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis and budget vs. actual comparisons. Provide insights to management to support decision-making.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Audit Support: Support external auditors during the annual audit process. Provide documentation and explanations as needed.
