Job summary

Arisa Health is seeking a Research Manager to oversee day-to-day implementation of a PCORI-funded study at a community clinic. You will supervise a site-based research assistant and act as the primary contact for site-level research operations.

You will collaborate with study participants, clinic staff, community partners, and the Johns Hopkins University study team to ensure high-quality study execution while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient-centered research practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, psychology, sociology, health sciences, social work, nursing, or related field.
• 2–5 years in related field required
• Minimum of 2–3 years coordinating clinical research, community-based research, or health-related projects
• Knowledge of human subjects research protections, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and community stakeholders
• Experience with data collection, study documentation, and electronic data capture systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and REDCap or similar research database platforms
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and with team members
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Willingness to complete required research training upon hire and pass proficiency quizzes

Responsibilities
