Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health in Paterson, NJ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care on a designated unit using the Nursing Process. You will collaborate with the Department of Nursing to support the system's goals and philosophy.

Qualified candidates hold NJ RN licensure (BSN preferred) and complete orientation with BLS, NRP, ACLS and PALS within one year of hire; NRP certification is required by 7/1/2021 or within 6 months of hire, per policy.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of New Jersey is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS, NRP within 1 year of hire; NRP certification required by 7/1/2021 or within 6 months of hire.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the Nursing Process.
• Collaborate with the Department of Nursing and assigned unit team.
• Support the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within St. Joseph's Health.
