Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Dayton, OH is seeking an on-site Recruiter to manage high-volume manufacturing recruitment daily. This hands-on role will partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager and collaborate with local hiring teams to fill hourly openings and skilled trades positions.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in manufacturing recruiting, experience with HRIS and MS Office, and the ability to drive internships, apprenticeship programs, and college outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years of talent acquisition experience in manufacturing.
• Experience recruiting for hourly roles and salary team members.
• Experience recruiting technical roles (engineering, skilled trades).
• HRIS experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Profitable, leading manufacturer with a diverse business mix is hiring a Recruiter to work on site daily, focused on hourly recruitment (mostly skilled trades roles) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Recruiter will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will work within a team of HR professionals. Responsibilities will include:

• Lead hourly recruitment efforts and assist with salary recruitment

This is a hands-on recruitment role required to be on site daily. Candidates should feel comfortable hitting the ground running and partnering with hiring managers to streamline recruitment projects. There are critical hourly recruitment needs! Candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision and direction; this is not an entry-level position.

Core Hours: On site Monday-Friday, starting your day between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., averaging 40-45 hours per week.

REQUIREMENTS for the Recruiter :

1. A bachelor's degree is highly preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
2. At least 3-5 years of similar talent acquisition experience in manufacturing
3. Experience recruiting for hourly, and ideally salary team members
4. Experience recruiting technical roles, such as engineering, skilled trades, etc.
5. Experience improving successful recruitment strategies
6. HRIS experience
7. Microsoft Office

Skills preferred but NOT required:

1. Experience recruiting for skilled trades
2. Experience developing or improving recruitment programs
