Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is sourcing a Quality Assurance & Process Improvement Manager in Cincinnati, OH, on-site. The role leads QA, product release, and investigations for a high-volume facility under FDA, SQF, and ISO compliance.

You will manage two Quality Coordinators and two QA Engineers, driving continuous improvement across four lines, with a pathway to broader plant leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Biology, Quality Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of QA or manufacturing leadership experience; may be an elite supervisor stepping into a Manager role.
• Direct experience in an FDA-regulated facility; background in pharmaceutical excipients, cosmetics, or regulated food processing is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and SQF; PCQI certification is valued; willingness to obtain it if needed.
• Experience with structured problem-solving (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to coach teams and engage customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline root-cause investigations on the production floor and develop preventative controls.
• Contribute to and drive the QMS modernization rollout (cloud-based platform).
• Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure audit readiness for ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and SQF.
• Oversee product release processes to ensure GMP compliance.
