Black & Veatch Family of Companies in Claude, TX is seeking a Site QC Inspector - Mechanical/CWI to join the on-site team. Responsibilities include implementing the project quality plans, interfacing with sites, procurement, and clients to maintain quality across civil/structural scopes.

Preferred candidates hold an active CWI certification and have 3+ years of Construction QC experience with or 5+ years without a degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction QC experience with degree, or 5+ years without.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).
• Active CWI certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Establishes, implements and maintains site quality program.
• Coordinates with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and field teams to ensure work is done correctly the first time.
• Ensures on-site work meets applicable codes and specifications.
• Conducts surveillance/audits of site Contractor Quality Control Programs.
• Oversight of welder qualification on-site testing.
• Approves on-site testing such as soils, concrete, grout breaks, hydro tests, and NDE testing; documents results.
