Job summary

Omega Medical Imaging in Sanford, FL is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance / Quality Control Specialist to support day-to-day quality activities on the manufacturing floor.

The role focuses on incoming and final inspections, NCR management, calibration, and quality records to ensure compliant processes for medical imaging systems; you will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and Service to resolve issues and maintain product quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FDA/ISO-regulated quality experience.
• Experience in incoming inspection, final inspection, NCRs, nonconforming material.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming visual and dimensional inspections with calipers.
• Support final inspection of completed medical imaging systems and related documentation.
• Maintain day-to-day oversight of nonconforming material and NCR records.
• Monitor NCR status, coordinate follow-up, and ensure timely closure.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Service and other functions to resolve quality issues.
• Support calibration activities and review calibration documentation.
• Review manufacturing and quality records for completeness and traceability.
