Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance for feed mills in Georgia. The role plans and directs animal food safety, USDA and 3rd party certifications, and regulatory programs across Pilgrim’s complexes, with travel up to 30 weeks per year.

You will guide the Animal Food Safety Plan, enforce QA standards, manage audits and supplier verification, and support 3rd party certifications and FDA/USDA compliance.

Qualifications

• Work experience in Quality Assurance/food safety and regulatory programs (FDA/USDA).
• Experience with third-party certification programs is preferred.
• Degree in Poultry Science or food safety related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Animal Food Safety Plan and regulatory compliance across facilities.
• Enforce QA standards for inspection, testing and evaluation.
• Maintain Supplier Verification Program per FSMA requirements.
• Conduct on-site audits to ensure regulatory and customer standards.
