Job summary

Centraprise is actively seeking an experienced Python Automation Engineer for an on-site contract in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on designing and scaling automated deployment frameworks, AWS integrations, and IaC workflows using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable software.

You will own automation scripting, cloud provisioning, and CI/CD orchestration across enterprise client engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps automation, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on Python scripting experience and automation frameworks.
• Experience automating AWS cloud services and infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in shell/Bash scripting for Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform for IaC provisioning.
• Experience building Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python automation scripts and frameworks.
• Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management using Python.
• Develop shell/Bash scripts for system administration tasks.
• Implement IaC using Ansible and Terraform for multi-environment deployments.
• Build and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and releases.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and performance issues across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile sprints and document workflows.
