Veterans Health Administration in California seeks full-time, on-site psychiatrists board eligible/certified to join our Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary team. You will deliver evidence-based psychiatric care to veterans, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group at locations across northern California.

You’ll participate in on-call rotations, contribute to education and research efforts, and benefit from a robust total rewards package

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current, full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
• Board eligibility or board certification in psychiatry.

Responsabilités

• Provide BHIP team-based psychiatry care at VA facilities in northern California.
• Conduct history, mental status exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Manage medications and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• On-call coverage as assigned and participate in quality improvement.
