Job summary

Southwest Equity Partners’ San Diego property is seeking a part-time On-site Manager to lead day-to-day operations, leasing and resident services while helping manage budgets and compliance. You will coordinate with maintenance, handle rent collections, and ensure strong occupancy.

The role emphasizes resident relations, reporting, and staff coordination. On-site presence and multi-location responsiveness are essential, with room for performance bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience; multi-unit experience a plus.
• Experience with Appfolio or similar property management software.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Experience in supervisory role and managing staff.
• Detail oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for residents; handle leasing, tours, rent collection and maintenance inquiries.
• Maintain high occupancy and rent levels per property plan; assist with marketing.
• Respond to resident concerns promptly; resolve issues and communicate clearly.
• Oversee financials: budgeting input, rent postings, and monthly reports.
• Enforce lease terms; conduct inspections and renewals, manage notices and evictions as needed.
• Develop programs to enhance resident experience and events.
• Inspect property to ensure safety, cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Meet with owners, provide performance updates and address owner requests.
• Coordinate with maintenance and ensure timely completion of service requests.
