Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Property Manager (Community Manager) in Seattle to lead a high-performing on-site team and drive exceptional resident experiences while delivering strong financial performance.

The ideal candidate will possess an ownership mindset, resilience, and the ability to navigate renovations and capital projects, ensuring compliance with housing laws and safety standards. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily property management leadership experience.
• Experience managing communities undergoing renovations or value-add repositioning is strongly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI achievement.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop on-site team members to achieve operational excellence and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
• Drive occupancy through effective leasing strategies, marketing initiatives, and competitive positioning during renovations.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs such as occupancy, delinquency, renewal rates, and renovation ROI to guide performance strategy.
