Job summary

Thalhimer Multifamily is seeking a Service Technician for Hampton River Villas in Hampton, VA. This full-time role includes on-call hours, with responsibilities covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repairs to keep residents’ homes in top condition.

You will maintain common areas, buildings, and pool areas, delivering excellent customer service and collaborating with the team to complete work orders efficiently.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar field.
• CFC and HVAC certifications are required.
• Strong background in plumbing, electrical systems, and general apartment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Completing apartment work orders and turnovers promptly.
• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Assisting with the upkeep of common areas, property buildings, and pool maintenance.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service in all interactions with residents and staff.
• Working with the team to ensure all maintenance tasks are handled efficiently and professionally.
• Responding to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
