Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Procurement Engineer to provide on-site supply chain support and act as the primary contact for procurement activities on project teams in Phoenix, AZ. You will embed with the project and coordinate with Purchasing, Fleet, Logistics, and Accounts Payable.

The role emphasizes cost control, vendor negotiations, PO management, and ensuring timely equipment delivery while maintaining accurate procurement logistics and invoicing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in procurement or related field.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Detail oriented with data-entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between project team, ACCO departments, and external suppliers.
• Manage on-site setup, procurement logs, and project scheduling alignment.
• Oversee budget, POs, change orders, and supplier negotiations.
• Validate invoicing, manage Medius queue, and prepare invoice packages.
• Handle subcontracting, equipment rental analysis, and vendor relations.
• Support logistics, close-out activities, and ad hoc duties.

Education

H.S. Diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Business/Economics/Management

Strong verbal communication

Strong business writing

MS Excel & MS Word proficient

Proficiency with invoice processing systems
