Job summary

Fortune-Johnson General Contractors is seeking an on-site Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading projects over $20M, preferably in multifamily, and will serve as the primary client contact on site.

The PM provides leadership for the project team, oversees budgets, schedules, safety, and quality, and collaborates with subcontractors, owners, and engineers to meet timelines and budget targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist Estimating in the Preconstruction process.
• Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
• Create project-specific logistics and safety plans.
• Develop scopes of work detailing company requirements, plans, and specs.
• Select and procure subcontractors in a timely manner.
• Ensure materials and equipment are delivered to the jobsite promptly.
• Monitor schedule, cost, quality and procedures.
• Manage project budgets and forecast monthly costs.
• Oversee pay requests and billing processes.
• Manage RFI, submittal, change orders and all document flow.
• Partner with Project Superintendent to ensure project success.
• Ensure work progresses according to schedule.
