Job summary

RR Donnelley Logan, UT is seeking a Project Management Intern to support project planning, client communication, and invoicing at the Logan facility. The internship is 20 hours per week and not remote.

This role requires local availability and is open to college sophomores or juniors with a 3.0 GPA in Supervision, Business Management, or Engineering. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Open to college level sophomores and juniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA, majoring in Supervision, Business Management, or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plans the production of a project by coordinating with team members, support, and production personnel in the production planning and scheduling; producing a project plan which includes work breakdown structure, resource requirements, and schedule; and conducting a potential problem analysis and proactively planning for implementation to ensure project preparations are organized and completed in a timely manner.
• Assembles the resources required for project implementation by working with production to schedule equipment; working to ensure inventory of component materials; working with composers to ensure client artwork meets manufacturing specifications; working with programmers to create output per client specifications, and working with the client to ensure delivery of customer-supplied materials.
• Monitors and tracks the project plan by making adjustments to resources and schedules; communicating with team members and production; updating project plans and schedules as changes occur; reporting to the client, supervision, and the client relationship manager on project status.
• Implements continuous improvement action plans to achieve quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
