Job summary

Kenimer and Knox Mechanical is seeking a Project Engineer / Project Coordinator for a large-scale, mission-critical construction project in Hampton, Georgia. The role operates on-site from the project trailers and collaborates with the Project Executive, PMs, field staff, general contractors, owners, engineers, and vendors to keep daily operations organized and on track.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, organize, and manage construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with construction document management, RFIs, submittals.
• Ability to work effectively with project executives, managers, field personnel, general contractors, and vendors.
• Attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through.
• On-site work full-time in Hampton, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Executive with day-to-day project coordination, planning, and administrative operations.
• Maintain project action-item logs and track outstanding deliverables.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams, general contractors, owners, engineers, and vendors.
• Assist in preparing meeting agendas, recording minutes, and tracking follow-ups.
• Monitor milestones, deadlines, and upcoming deliverables.
• Identify issues and communicate concerns to project leadership.
• Manage Autodesk Build documentation and drawing sets.
• Prepare, submit, and track submittals and RFIs.
• Support procurement tracking and scheduling.
