Job summary

Gaylor Electric is seeking a Project Engineer to ensure successful on-site project execution in northern Indiana. The role collaborates with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to manage schedule, resources, and documentation while upholding quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include planning and directing project activities, coordinating field installations, and maintaining strong client relations with owners, architects, engineers and trade contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred; equivalents considered.
• High level technical/administrative experience required; electrical apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: plan and prepare contract administration and direct project activities for timely completion.
• Client and Stakeholder Management: develop and maintain strong client relationships with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors and vendors.
• Coordination and Communication: coordinate with Operations Manager, Project Manager, General Superintendent, and HR; review documents and specifications.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance; adhere to procedures and project cost/time/quality goals.
