6 Degrees Search is seeking a Project Accountant to join our growing team in Fort Wayne, IN. This on-site role offers the chance to handle project finances from setup through monthly billing, working closely with project managers to monitor budgets and identify savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a MUST.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly self-motivated.

• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project finances from setup to monthly billing using Sage 300.
• Partner with project managers to track budgets, analyze risks, and spot savings.
• Handle vendor compliance, accounts payable, and sales/use tax.
